Long service life and high reliability thanks to silver butt contacts

MARECHAL contacts are comparable with the contacts in switches and contactors. The technology is based on butt contacts with metallic braid and spring for an exactly defined contact pressure. The contact tips are made of silver-nickel, combining the excellent contact quality of silver with the mechanical properties of nickel.

This means:

• Excellent electrical performances
• Exactly defined contact pressure
• No corrosion of the contacts, thus always optimum current transmission with low contact resistance - not only when the device is new but over a long lifespan
• High resistance to light arcs
• Mechanical and electrical endurance which makes tens of thousands of plugging cycles possible (e.g. 16A: more than 10,000 cycles!)

Less downtime thanks to a system preventing the loosening of conductors

One of the reasons for plugs and socket-outlets failing is that the terminal screws on the conductors become loose. This won't happen with ISV plugs and socket-outlets. The elastic loosening protection feature ensures that the conductors remain tight even under vibrations.

Additional installations no longer necessary

ISV Decontactors combine plug and switch features in one device. Thanks to their load breaking capacity, complicated additional installations such as the inclusion of pilot cables for electrical locking or the combination with switches are no longer required.

More flexibility and time saving during maintenance and repair

Motors which are connected via a ISV DECONTACTOR can be moved quickly and safely at any time. Simply press the latch on the DECONTACTOR to break the circuit. Repair times and machine downtimes are thus much shorter than with permanent wiring installations.

Costs saved and storage capacities reduced thanks to modular system

Plugs and socket-outlets in compliance with the MARECHAL quality are based on a world-wide standardisation and use a modular system. Almost all accessories and components right down to the individual contacts can be delivered as spare parts.

The MARECHAL modular system has been designed in such a way that three different plugs are compatible with one 3P+N+E socket: 1P+N+E, 3P+E and 3P+N+E. This reduces the number of sockets required and reduces installation costs.
