The company, founded in 1969 and based in Willstätt-Sand in Southern Germany, is a manufacturer of industrial plugs and socket-outlets in compliance with the Marechal technology.

ISV manufactures according to European and international standards and is a member of the international Butt-contact Electrical Connectors Manufacturers' Association BECMA. The company quality management system is certified to the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 standard.

The design of new products is based on state-of-the-art technologies and often anticipates future developments in standards and regulations. The focus is always on the market with its wide range of applications and environments.
